1. Our Mission: A Safe Space for LGBTQIA+ Community

Pronoun Book is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to express their gender identity and pronouns freely. We celebrate diversity in gender expression, including alternative and coined pronouns, and are committed to protecting our community from discrimination, harassment, and hate speech.

This Platform exists to support individuals exploring and expressing their authentic selves through pronoun usage, gender identity, and community connection. We stand firmly against transphobia, homophobia, and all forms of discrimination.

11. Political Discussion Policy

We welcome political discussion from all viewpoints. Members are free to express political opinions across the entire spectrum - left, right, center, libertarian, progressive, conservative, or any other political perspective.

However, hate speech is strictly prohibited regardless of political affiliation. You may:

  • ✅ Discuss policy positions, political candidates, and ideological differences respectfully
  • ✅ Express disagreement with political movements or parties
  • ✅ Debate controversial topics with civility
  • ✅ Share political news, analysis, and opinions

You may NOT:

  • ❌ Use slurs, dehumanizing language, or hate speech against any group
  • ❌ Call for violence or harm against individuals or groups
  • ❌ Invalidate others' pronouns or gender identities based on political beliefs
  • ❌ Harass or target individuals for their political views

Example: You can say "I disagree with [political party]'s policies on [issue]" but not "[political group] are [slur/dehumanizing term]." Critique ideas, not people's humanity.

Flags and Symbols: Political, historical, national, and LGBTQIA+ flags are not considered hate speech and are permitted as part of political discourse, historical discussion, and identity expression. This includes but is not limited to:

  • National flags (Palestinian flag, Israeli flag, American flag, etc.)
  • LGBTQIA+ Pride flags (Rainbow flag, Trans flag, Progress Pride flag, etc.)
  • Historical flags (Confederate flag, historical national flags, etc.)
  • Political campaign symbols and party flags

Flags represent campaigns, movements, history, and identity. Displaying or discussing flags is protected speech. However, using flags alongside dehumanizing language, slurs, or calls for violence may still violate our hate speech policy.
